As a woman brought up in a strict religious household, I found myself confused by a faith that was supposed to be founded on love, compassion and forgiveness. I often found myself feeling the exclusions of my faith, lost – as if there was something more. It was no mistake when I encountered the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition. Throughout this apprenticeship, I’ve learned how to expand my faith through sacred relationship with Pachamama and reciprocity. It’s allowed me to build a solid foundation to my faith and respect for all living things around me. I feel forever changed and forever grateful to my teacher and this way of life.
