Ligaya was born in the Philippines and grew up with the indigenous tribe of the Cordillera mountains on the island of Luzon. She spent her youth as part of a community that is rich in rituals honoring our beloved Pachamama, the cycles of life, and nature. Her emigration to the United States in 1986 severed this connection and caused her to eventually forget. Ligaya joined the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition in 2015. The PMT helped her remember and tap into forgotten shamanic rituals and ceremonies from the tradition she belonged to as a young girl, valuing wisdom from the ancestors and practices giving back to the seen and unseen world. More importantly, the PMT provided her with a heart-centered community that values right action as a way of life. Ligaya lives in Sacramento, California and is blessed with three talented kids.

Embrace the Light, Honor the Abundance: On this sacred Summer Solstice, we gather as one—bridging continents, weaving intentions, and celebrating the infinite gifts of the universe. As the sun reaches its zenith, let us embrace the abundance we have received and continue to receive—for ourselves, our families, our communities, and our beloved planet.

In a powerful act of unity, we will co-create a Despacho, offering prayers and gratitude to our beloved planet and the forces supporting this earth walk. Together, with open hearts, we embrace these forces that shape our journey, knowing we are connected, held, and guided by the limitless flow to and from the mystical realms.

What to Bring:

  • Something natural/organic that represents joy and abundance to you for the creation of the Despacho.
  • Please note that you won’t get this back.
  • Please also bring a drum, a rattle, or a music maker if you have one to play.

Location: Rock Mama Events Center, 8109 Fruitridge Road, Suite C, Sacramento, CA, USA 95820
Ceremonialists: PMT Sanctioned Teachers Ligaya Na-oy and Chio Robalino-Rivas
