Chio’s passion for healing started in 1992 when she became a Physical Therapist specializing in neurological and vestibular rehabilitation. Her devotion to healing guided her to look into other modalities, eventually leading her to European Shamanism in 2014, opening her up to Spirit in a profound way. In 2019, Chio was introduced to the significance of rituals and ceremonies through the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition, a gateway to a heart centered connection with the Lineages of South America. Having a great grandmother who was sought out for her midwifery and herbal healing skills, Chio’s family lineage is one of community healing. She is immensely honored to be of service to Pachamama and to all life on Pachamama. She embodies compassion and guides students through this multi-layered tradition while providing a supportive space for personal healing and transformation. Chio was born in the mountain city of Riobamba, Ecuador, and has maintained a deep connection with Chimborazo and Altar Apukuna (Mountains) of her birth – the lineage of the Andean traditions is embedded within her DNA. She now resides in Sacramento, California and offers remote healing services, please contact her directly.

Ligaya was born in the Philippines and grew up with the indigenous tribe of the Cordillera mountains on the island of Luzon. She spent her youth as part of a community that is rich in rituals honoring our beloved Pachamama, the cycles of life, and nature. Her emigration to the United States in 1986 severed this connection and caused her to eventually forget. Ligaya joined the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition in 2015. The PMT helped her remember and tap into forgotten shamanic rituals and ceremonies from the tradition she belonged to as a young girl, valuing wisdom from the ancestors and practices giving back to the seen and unseen world. More importantly, the PMT provided her with a heart-centered community that values right action as a way of life. Ligaya lives in Sacramento, California and is blessed with three talented kids.

Willka Hampiq is a shamanic apprenticeship for those called deeply to the path of healing. It includes intensive practice in the ritual use of the vibrational frequencies of earth, water, air, fire, and ether to harmonize challenges within the body, mind, emotions, spirit, and soul.

Building off your foundational relationship with the elements, the Wilka Hampiq (Sacred Medicine Spirit) Apprenticeship is an opportunity to expand your capacity as a healer for yourself, your community, and the planet. By forming a personal and active alliance with the tutelary animals and energetic forces of each direction of the Pachakuti Mesa, you will greatly elevate your capacity for healing.

By pursuing this in-depth course of study, you can:

  • Advance your healing practice
  • Experience a one-of-a-kind initiation into Peruvian Energy Medicine for the Modern World
  • Apprentice in the 5 healing energies of the PMT and the ritual techniques associated with each of them
  • Obtain hands-on opportunities for transmitting and receiving the five healing energies
  • Deepen your conscious relationship with the animal allies of the five directions
  • Integrate Quechua words, vibrational music, platonic solids, breathing techniques, and shamanic journeying
  • Receive 25+ hours of training time with a Lineage-Sanctioned Teacher
  • Opt to earn certification as an Energy Healer in the PMT

Each session will provide ample time to practice giving and receiving healing work, and experienced mentorship throughout.

The Pachakuti Mesa Tradition of shamanism provides a comprehensive understanding of the ritual cosmology and healing use of the sacred powers and forces revered by Andean wisdom-keepers since time immemorial.

These practices are relevant for people from all walks of life who are seeking to maximize their presence as sources of healing light in the world. Working with teachers sanctioned by don Oscar Miro-Quesada and the PMT Lineage, you’ll be apprenticed in time-tested healing arts derived from Peru’s northern coastal kamasqa curandersimo and southeastern highland paqokuna shamanic traditions.

This level of shamanic medicine contribution to the Great Work is needed more than ever in the world, especially given the current alarming level of systemic intensification in prophesied Pachakuti witnessed at a global scale. All said and done, Now is the TIME, and the Time is NOW to emphatically ‘roll up our sleeves,’ or better even, ‘pull out our Ajuar de Artes,’ and lovingly embrace and honor the soul empowering medicine ways of our shamanic ancestors.

Pre-requisite: two (2) or more online or in-person courses with don Oscar and/or completion of the Foundational Apprenticeship

Certification option: The Wilka Hampiq intermediate-level apprenticeship includes the option to achieve an Energy Healer certification. This intermediate-level apprenticeship is for students who have completed the 5-part apprenticeship or two online or in-person classes with don Oscar.
