Deborah Epstein

Deborah Epstein is a ritual, ceremonial, and visionary artist, healer, and Sanctioned Teacher of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition™ of Cross-Cultural Shamanism. Her life’s work is rooted in remembering the living relationship between soul, body and Pachamama through healing the imagination. In 2015, she was introduced to the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition through a guided journey with don Oscar Miro-Quesada offered through the shift network. She felt an unmistakable calling from the lineage that set her upon her path of apprenticeship and transformation through the PMT.

Guided by her devotion to healing and to remembering our connection with Pachamama and all our relations, Deborah carries the teachings of the PMT as a path of imaginal awakening and embodied creative remembrance. At the heart of her work is the mesa—a living field of healing energy that serves as the center of all ceremony, art, and awakening at The Cosmic Dreaming Lodge in Sedona, Arizona. Within this field, people engage the land, the guides, and the healing arts to remember who they truly are and to embody their wholeness in creative service to life.

Deborah’s apprenticeship in the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition began with Cynthia Greer, continued with Judy Hoaglund after her relocation to Sedona, and culminated in a second five-part apprenticeship guided by Heather Weingartner and Rev. Anna Maria Lopez, who together recommended her for sanctioning. Over the years, Deborah has participated in numerous ceremonies and online apprenticeships with don Oscar Miro-Quesada, deepening her relationship with the living cosmology of the mesa and the ancestral wisdom that informs her work.

Deborah shares her work through her visionary art, private sessions and retreats, as well as through her Substack publication The Cosmic Dreaming Lodge, her subscriber series A Dreaming Orchard, and the podcasts Connection with Spirit and Imagine.

She lives with her husband Dave and their wonder-pup Otto in Sedona where they enjoy hiking and adventure in the majestic beauty of the red rocks.
