THE LUMINOUS THRESHOLD

Shamanic Wisdom for the Final Crossing

A Shamans Directory | LIVE ONLINE EVENT
with Don Oscar Miro-Quesada Solevo & Bonnie Glass-Coffin, Ph.D., M.Div.
Saturday 10 October 2026
8am PDT / 11am EDT / 5pm CET
Approximately 2 hours

You are warmly invited to join us with two internationally-acclaimed shamanic teachers for intimate dialogue devoted to one of life’s most sacred passages: accompanying the soul, the body, the family, and the field of love surrounding a person as death draws near.

While death is often perceived in Western cultures through the lenses of defeat, pathology, or disappearance, maestro curandero don Oscar Miro-Quesada and interfaith chaplain Bonnie Glass-Coffin invite us to explore another perspective: death as a profound threshold of transformation — an ancestral doorway where grief, gratitude, unfinished stories, blessing, forgiveness, and mystery gather around the final breath.

Drawing from decades of apprenticeship, scholarship, ceremony, and lived devotion to Peruvian curanderismo, this conversation will explore how shamanic consciousness can bring greater dignity, tenderness, relational repair, and spiritual orientation to the end-of-life journey—helping us approach the threshold with greater trust, and those who remain to navigate grief while keeping their hearts open.

This is not simply a conversation about death. It is an invitation to explore how we can embody loving presence through the final passage — and throughout life itself. This unique offering is especially meaningful for students and practitioners of shamanic studies, anthropology, psychology, chaplaincy, hospice and palliative care, death doula work, and spiritual healing.

This event is open to all.
No preregistration is required.

$22 donation is requested; please do what you can, though, to contribute to the Shamans Directory incredible One Fire mission!
