Cindy has been at the center of The Heart of the Healer since 2000, first as a long-term board chair and member and currently as managing member of Team Stellar. Her passion for creating and nurturing heartfelt community has spanned decades and includes founding the Art Union artist’s studios, the annual South Park Art Fair, Sacred Traditions girls summer camp, and Elm Street Full Moon ceremonies for women. There are few things more important to her than the health and wholeness of her community.
Cindy has been a Pachakuti Mesa Carrier since October 1999 and together with don Oscar Miro-Quesada has facilitated numerous eco-spiritual pilgrimages to Peru, Bolivia and Guatemala and has assisted in the creation and successful delivery of a multitude of in-person weekend apprenticeships and on-line courses. Currently, she is providing a nine-month online Goddess Initiation program for women.
Michele has spent most of her working life as a professional graphic designer, with extensive experience in product packaging and labeling as well as branding and communications. Michele was introduced to the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition in 1999 and a few years later don Oscar commissioned her to design the THOTH logo/archetype. During that time Michele also produced print newsletters and promotional materials for The Heart of the Healer Foundation. Currently she is publishing the THOTH e-newsletters and editing the Writer’s Forum, updating information on this website, maintaining the community calendar and assisting with formatting all teaching documents for don Oscar and the PMT apprenticeship. Michele resides in San Diego, California with her husband Alan and three cats. She loves walking the beach, playing music with friends, and she belongs to a book club that has been meeting consistently for 30 years.
Amy Mermaid Isakov
Training Programs Maestra and Zoom Queen
Amy is an innovative dreamer, passionate about connection, spirituality, music, ritual arts, and how the Divine can manifest in all its forms. Having left the traditional education path, she has studied in-depth with shamans, bodyworkers, evolutionary thought leaders and green builders since 2001. While working at The Shift Network, she hosted and managed all of don Oscar’s courses, while having the privilege to host and learn from many of the world’s leading mystics, dreamers and visionaries. She is a Pachakuti Mesa Sanctioned Teacher, writer, singer and mother — among other things — and looks forward to helping as many people as possible return to the truth of interconnection in this time of dire beauty. She regularly leads gatherings in her region and beyond, subscribing to the truth she recognizes in Thich Nhat Hanh’s teaching “The next buddha will be a sangha.”
Heather is a sanctioned Pachakuti Mesa Tradition Teacher, ceremonial artist, and shamanic alchemist. Since her initiation in 2012, she has embraced the PMT lineage, ethos and community with her whole Self. Heather is devoted to crafting offerings of healing beauty that nourish the Earth and Unseen, and assist others in their personal journeys and transformational processes. She weaves these medicines into the ceremonial tapestries of her teaching and ritual hoops, and sells them through her Etsy shop, EarthFlowerOfferings. As a member of the Kuntisuyu council, she has co-organized in-person retreats for don Oscar Miro-Quesada as well as PMT-inspired regional gatherings since 2018. Heather strives to recognize and honor the gifts and talents that others embody, and finds great joy in collaborating with our community to co-create ceremonial events and retreats, richly unique in their healing service to the earth and all beings.
