Date(s) - 07/29/2017
3:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Hummingbird Way, ECOS, the Lodge of the People, and the Heartland Ayllu have partnered up to host an evening of Prayer, Ceremonial Dance, and RAMA Meditation at Teeter Rock in the Flint Hills. Our intention is to strengthen protections against the effects of the oil industry for this Heartland environment, so sacred to our spiritual communities.

Ceremonies will begin promptly at 4pm, flow into a Flowering Earth Dance, break for supper, flow back into a Long Dance and continue till ceremony closing around 9pm. Folks are also welcome to stay into/over the night afterward.

This is a family-oriented event and not a place for recreational substances. The location is on rough track and offers no shade and no services, so come prepared to be very self-sufficient.

Please arrive by 3:30pm and bring a strand of at least 88 tobacco prayer ties to carry with you into the ceremonies. Bring plenty of water, snacks, dinner for yourself, chairs or blankets, your own shade/umbrella/hat etc., suncreen, bug repellant and provisions to meet your own toilet needs. Bring also your rattles, drums, and flutes.

Location: Teter Hill Road, Eureka, KS 67045 For best directions see contact info.
